1. Information We Collect

Account Information: When you sign up or sign in using Google Authentication (powered by Firebase Authentication by Google), we collect your display name, email address, and profile picture as provided by your Google account. We do not store your password — all authentication is handled securely by Google Firebase.

Uploaded Files: The majority of Love PDF Tool's features operate entirely within your web browser. Files processed by browser-based tools (such as Merge PDF, Split PDF, Compress PDF, Rotate PDF, etc.) are never uploaded to our servers and never leave your device. For server-based conversion tools (such as PDF to Excel, PDF to Word, or similar), your file is transmitted over an encrypted HTTPS connection to our secure processing server, held in temporary memory only for the duration of processing, and permanently and automatically deleted the moment your converted file is delivered to you. Love PDF Tool does not read, copy, store, sell, analyse, or share your file contents under any circumstances.

Usage Analytics: We may collect anonymous, non-personally-identifiable usage statistics (such as which tools are used most often, country of origin, and browser type) using Cloudflare Web Analytics. This data cannot be used to identify you personally and is used solely to improve our tools.

Cookies: We use strictly necessary cookies solely to maintain your authenticated login session via Firebase. We do not use advertising cookies, third-party tracking cookies, or retargeting pixels.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use information collected to: (a) create and maintain your account on lovepdftool.com; (b) authenticate your identity when you sign in; (c) process your PDF files and deliver converted results; (d) improve and optimise the performance of our tools; (e) respond to your support requests; and (f) comply with applicable legal obligations.

3. Data Sharing

Love PDF Tool does not sell, rent, trade, or share your personal information with any third parties for marketing or advertising purposes. We may share data only with: (a) Google Firebase, solely for secure authentication services; (b) Google Cloud / Cloudflare, solely for infrastructure and content delivery; and (c) law enforcement authorities, only when required by applicable law with a valid legal order.

4. Data Security

Love PDF Tool implements industry-standard security measures including: end-to-end HTTPS encryption for all data in transit; secure, isolated cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Run; global DDoS protection and bot mitigation via Cloudflare; and automatic, immediate deletion of all uploaded files after processing. No electronic system is 100% secure, and while we take every reasonable precaution, we cannot guarantee absolute security against all threats.

5. Your Rights and Account Deletion

You have the right to: (a) access the personal data Love PDF Tool holds about you; (b) request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data; (c) request permanent deletion of your account and all associated personal data from our systems; and (d) withdraw consent for data processing at any time by deleting your account. To exercise any of these rights, please email us at support@lovepdftool.com with the subject "Data Request" or "Account Deletion Request". We will respond and action all requests within 30 days.

6. Children's Privacy

Love PDF Tool is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. 7. International Data Transfers

Your information may be processed on servers located outside your country of residence (including in the United States via Google Cloud and Cloudflare). By using Love PDF Tool, you consent to this. We ensure appropriate security safeguards are in place for all such transfers.
